Hulisani Cecilia known as "CC" Ravele is a South African television and radio presenter and voice artist best known as a YOTV presenter on a variety of shows from 2000-2008. Cecilia was also in a relationship with Sipho Ngwenya for 10 years.
Hulisani Ravele is really not happy about the upcoming KZN entertainment awards she strongly believe that the money could be of a good use for the community.
Source from (TIME LIVE)says This follows news last week that two of Mzansi's top musicians, DJ Black Coffee and DJ Tira, are set to acknowledge KwaZulu-Natal talent with their new entertainment awards at the Durban ICC on December 15.
The DJs revealed the awards aim to acknowledge the province's top achievers who are making waves across the industry.Category winners will walk away with R100,000 and the overall winner will bank R500,000.
Hulisani Ravele says the money could be better spent on helping school children. As we all know the country was on lockdown and the government used alot of money in trying to help alot of South Africans. i think Ravele has a good point on this one.
Ever Since she heard the news, this is what she had to say on Twitter to express her feelings about the awards, this many can be of good use for many people ?instead of hosting this event the money can do alot of things that will benefit the community.
Source says In a conversation on Twitter, Hulisani spoke out about dilapidated schools, there are kids who cross dangerous rivers and walk many kilometres to and from school and who would really benefit more from the money than the artists.
Hulisani added there is nothing wrong with celebrating talents but hosting awards during this time is really a “wasteful expenditure”.
