Death has again robbed mzansi people another talented actor who impacted positively on the lives of many people. It still feels like a nightmare as people come into terms with the death of veteran award winning actor Patrick Shai. He was a South African actor, producer and an activist. He was famously known for his roles on mzansi top views soap operas like Generations, Skeem Saam, Ashes to Ashes, Zero Tolerance and the list goes on.
He was in the acting industry for a long time and was recorded to be one of South African top loved actors. He impacted positively on the lives of many people as an activist and an actor. He helped to uplift the lives of many people in the country. It had been said that he committed suicide and was confirmed dead in the early hours of today. People are still in shock and feeling as if they are dreaming hoping that someone would wake them up and say it's not true.
They are drowning in a pool of questions wondering why a whole depression activist would commit suicide. It's clear that as human beings we go through a lot and obstacles has nothing to do with age or gender. Mzansi people had hopes of seeing him more on the screens. It's sad that he is gone. Many people including prominent celebrities have started to send their condolences to the family and colleagues during this hard time. Celebrities including the likes of award winning musician Yvone Chakachaka have reacted on this tragedy.
She posted on her social media page and said " Lord Why, Lord Why rest in peace mfethu. To your family accept our condolences". His colleagues are struggling to come into terms with his passing. His presence is really going to be missed more especially in the media and acting industry. He played a vital role on the acting industry of South Africa .
