Celebrities trying too hard for relevance.... [OPINION]

Celebrities aren't ordinary people for a season in time they do hold a following and their opinions and views matter. In light of them being influential they hardly use it for any good except when the narrative suit their gain.

In the light of the recent happenings of the protests which have engulfed the country, Twitter is abuzz with our elite society,s views on how things should be done.

Emmy nominated Thuso Mbedu was one of the few who lamented the burning of the country with an impassioned plea,as per black Twitter salvager standards hers and Pearl Thusi,s views were rubbished.

Thuli Phongolo wasn't spared either for calling an end to these criminal acts, some like Jub Jub sadly with the Zuma children were there to fuel the already raging inferno citing different things like hunger to justify these nefarious actions.

Twitter is filled with a young crowd who adore listen and follows what their famous compatriots would say no matter the content.Sadly these celebrities know that and each day as nonsense prevails over wisdom and sense.

The fires will die down but as the young ones say it the streets never forget it's only a matter of time when the saying from Malcolm X."It's not you did during our trying times but your silence was complicit to our suffering.

Hopefully we all go for one means to an end to end this dark time and start searching for the light and stop searching for relevance and clout
