Kuli Roberts, a TV host and actress, has landed an acting role. She stars in Netflix's new film Angelina, about a former parking attendant who is diagnosed with a terminal condition and decides to pursue her goal of traveling the world.
"However, because it was on Facebook, I assumed it was all a prank."
“And the rest, as they say, is history. "Being a part of the film was incredible; everyone was very nice, and I had a great time," she remarked.
Stepping into Tina's shoes, according to Kuli, was a breeze. This is because she is from Cape Town, therefore nailing the accent was not an issue for her, despite the fact that others may object and think she didn't nail it.
They must remember that the city has a variety of accents. She advised them to relax. There was nothing to dislike about Tina, according to the former Trending SA host, because everyone would love her.
"She's free, dresses terrible but believes she looks amazing," she said. "The self-confidence that she exudes and how she is always there for Angelina through thick and thin is going to rub off beautifully on a lot of people."
Kuli stated that the film was full with life lessons, one of which she learned while filming her scenes was to be more thoughtful. Thapelo Mokwena, Euodia Sampson, and Collin Moss also star in the film.
