Let us remember the young wife of King Mswati LaDube. The 12th wife of King Mswati III shocked the nation when she died at 31 years of age in 2019.
The 12th wife of Eswatini’s King Mswati died whilst she was receiving treatment in a South Africa hospital.
It was unknow to the public that she had been undergoing treatment for skin cancer.
She had 3 children with the king of which were all still quite young.
Her mark in the national stage began when she became a finalist for Eswatini’s Miss Teen back in 2004, which was just before she joined the Swati Royal Family.
Her children with King Mswati were: Princess Makhosothando Dlamini, Princess Mahlemalangeni Dlamini and Prince Betive Dlamini.
Her burial happened privately as is the standard practice for most Swati royal burials.
Most African monarchies have the official burial of a member of the royal family in private. These are due to ancient beliefs which ruled in these royal families.
We hope that her children have found healing and comfort.
