The past Saturday was a very difficult time for the late gospel star, Dr Deborah Fraser's family. Her funeral was held at The Station venue in Durban where it was full of star-studded celebrities, fans and esteemed guests.
Her children, who paid a tribute, barely hold their tears while speaking saying they wanted to give the life she gave them, unfortunately they ran out of time.
Her son, Nkosana shared some of the grief he was going through since her passing last Sunday..
Nkosana spoke of how everyone knew his mom and how she was not okay especially this year. He went on to say that death is not something you can get used to, he slowly realised that it is real, she is gone.
Nkosana said he could see the effect her music had on the nation and how her death has left a huge devastation on her family and friends.
Hwe daughter, Aliyah, broke down saying she has lost her best friend but has found a very powerful guardian angel.
The family spokesperson, Vuka Tshabalala said Deborah's children were still coming to terms with her passing. He mentioned how she was a pillar of strength to the family.
Her body could not be buried on Saturday and had to be returned back to the mortuary due to the heavy rains that took place on Saturday which filled the grave with water. It is expected to be buried today.
