The South African talented actress who played the role of nortorus and feisty Sis Ouma (University security guard) in Skeemsam recently passed on. Nokuzola Mlengana was born on the 28th of September 1962. She was born and bred in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Currently she was residing in Lyndhurst in Johannesburg. She passed on at the age of 59 on the 12th of July.
Tributes have been poring in for her shich shows that she was loved by many. Skeemsam wrote on their social media pages "May her family accept our warmest condolences and we send thoughts of peace and courage their way". Life is indeed very short and unpredictable. Her surprising death comes shortly after the death of her on-screen husband Ramolao played by Thema Mokoena who was replaced on the soapie shortly after his death.
The cause of Nokuzola's death has been revealed as Pneumonia, which is condition that affect the lungs. It is caused by fungi, bacteria or viruses. This condition is life-threatening to anyone, but particularly to infants, children and people over 65. It's symptoms include a cough with phlegm, fever, chills and difficulty in breathing (World Health Organization, 2021).
Pneumonia is the thief that robbed us of the legendary actress. The whole of Mzansi mourns for her. She left behind her three children namely Siyosindiswa, Ntombi and Patience.
