The Real Goboza, a celebrity gossip and entertainment show broadcast on SABC 1, has come to an end after three seasons. A week after its launch on SABC 1 (on Wednesday, June 27th, 2007), the show was broadcast for the final time on Saturday night.
Mulisa Mudau, the Real Goboza field presenter, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for her four years on the show, which she described as "the finest years of my life." She tweeted a quote from the late Bob Marley, a great reggae musician who was born in Jamaica.
The words of Bob Marley ring true: "Beginnings are typically scary, and ends are usually sad, but it's everything in between that makes it all worthwhile."
'As we prepare to take our final bow tonight, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and pleasant recollections of the best four years of my life.' In fact, God's promises are a resounding "yes and amen," and I am a living testimony to his love, favor, and mercy."
Mulisa expressed her gratitude to Urban Brew Studios, SABC 1, and everyone who has supported her throughout her RGB journey over the past 4 years.
Sinazo Yolwa was streaming live on Instagram while she was snuggled up with her boyfriend, watching the final episode of RGB.
The two of us are going to pop some champazey and make a big deal about it because for me personally, it's been eight years of ups and downs, but I wouldn't exchange it for anything." Perhaps better compensation, but doesn't everyone want better compensation?"
Samora Mangezi, one of the co-presenters, joined in on the live video celebration of the special moments they've experienced together.
A number of celebrities, including Khaya Dladla, Kuli Roberts, MaBlerh Salvatore, Phil Mphela, and Pearl Thusi, joined the RGB presenters at the end of the show to celebrate their accomplishments.
