MZANSI TV viewers were stunned to learn about the death of actor Jamie Bartlett.

His family has recently stated that he died as a result of a heart attack.

Hector Bartlett, his son, spoke about his father this afternoon at eNCA. He saw his father share himself with the world, "bringing brightness into our life," he remarked.

"I'll remember how he lived his life and how much joy he provided to everyone." His love of life, learning, the world, and those who live in it. He was extremely devoted to his homeland.

He stated that he would miss his father, who was a tremendous advisor and friend to him.

During the conversation, Hector stated that the family had not yet determined when he would be buried, but they promised to reveal more information shortly.

Rosa Onious, Bartlett's partner, reported the reason for their deaths to News24.

"We got the autopsy report, and it was cardiac arrest," she explained.

On Monday evening, Bartlett died peacefully in his sleep.

Onions, who was visibly upset, explained that he had taken an afternoon nap, as he normally did when he wasn't working. She stated that she attempted to wake him up around 5 p.m. so that he could leave to meet up with his boys, but he did not awaken.

She explained, "but Jamie didn't look up." Onious stated that she attempted to nudge him once more to wake him up. "Jamie's not waking up, he's not waking up, and I called my mother, who was outside, and she tried everything," she sobbed.

They then called an ambulance, which allegedly came within 15 minutes.

"They did everything to resuscitate him; CPR, everything," she explained.
