Skeem Saam: Viewers fed up with Khwezi getting away with being the villain
While you're here, please follow me.
Skeem Saam is in a league of their own. The writers know how to keep the story going and viewers on the edge of their seats.
Recently, we have seen Khwezi realize that Pretty is more than just an ex she could get rid of by kidnapping. Pretty and Lehasa have found their way back to each other and Khwezi found them romancing each other. She then stabbed Lehasa.
Viewers were quite anxious on how the stabbing will turn out. Whether or not Lehasa would lose his memory; whether Khwezi would turn the entire thing around and come out as the victim.
Thus far, Lehasa only woke up and called for Pretty. Khwezi lost her mind. She seems to always be a step ahead; eavesdropping on important conversations and making Pretty out to be the bad guy!
As much as the storyline is exciting, viewers can't help but feel like Skeem Saam is dragging it too long and giving Khwezi way too much power.
This is something a lot of soapies do, give a character so much power that you end up resenting the character and even detaching from watching the soapie.
So far, a lot of comments on Twitter are fed up with the character.
The comments read as follows:
If Khwezi gets away with this can we all agree that we will stop watching #SkeemSaam 😏😏😏😏 Mpho_mashala
if Khwezi isn’t caught by the end of this week, i swear i’m done with this show. 😭 #SkeemSaam neomokss_
Khwezi's story is so flawed, even I could be Pretty's lawyer and win the case #SkeemSaam modikothembi64
Thoughts? Do you think Skeem Saam is dragging the storyline too long and might lose viewership in the process?
Thank you for reading! Please leave your comments in the comments section below and I'll engage!
