Makhadzi (which means Aunty) is the stage name of South African musician and craftsman Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, who was born on June 30, 1996.
Tshanda Vhuya and Matrokisi were two of her most successful singles, and they made her a household name.
She grew up in a low-income family where both parents were unemployed security guards. When her people were split up, Makhadzi and her two cousins moved in with their mom.
Her more active relatives looked up to her as the most well-established member of the family, therefore they encouraged her to lead by example. She owes a lot of who she is today to her grandmother.
She graduated from high school at Mukula Integrated School. After completing her formal education, Makhadzi went on to pursue her passion for the theater.
In an endeavor to acquire work as a specialist craftsman, Makhadzi, then 12 years old, joined the Makirikiri Musical Group in 2010. As a result, she started moving in the direction of a real profession. In time, she developed a passion for singing.
