Lebo M sued for unpaid rent and damages

Lebo M is being sued for R700 000 for unpaid rent and damages.Lebo M is the producer of the Lion King, he also has his own reality show called 'Lebo M Coming Home' which is on Showmax. His former landlord Elizabeth Leonora Alexander is suing him for none payment of rent and damages for the property he was renting in Lanseria.

Alexander wants Lebohang Morake AKA Lebo M to pay for four months's loss of rent income and damages he allegedly caused to the Blair Athol Estate mansion. It is reported that one of the publications are in the possession of the court papers which state that Lebo M signed a 24 month agreement to rent the property on 28 January 2020.

It is said that the lease commenced on 1 March and was supposed to end on the 28th of February 2022. Alexander is also accusing Lebo of leaving the mansion in a mess, she claims that Lebo damaged some items in the mansion which includes curtains, gas braai and a router before leaving the property in July. She further mentioned that Lebo agreed to be charged for any interests for the overdue rent because of the lease being terminated before time. Alexander said she lost R260 000 for four months future rent income because she couldnt place tenants during that time, also the rent he failed to pay for July and over R68 000 Agent fee she paid to market the property
