The Housekeepers ended just last week on Mzansi Magic and already is being replaced with a new drama series. Chris Habede is executive producing this and you'll know his work from Gomora as head writer I'd you're unfamiliar.
Isifiso is well on it's way to becoming the viewer favourite.
We started the show with our main character Bazothini, portrayed by Nelisa Mchunu. A woman just trying her best to get by while dealing with an overbearing mother, an ailing father and an unmotivated husband. To make matter worse, she is overshadowed by her younger sister who seems to be living her best life.
All of this culminates to a bloody murder and the possibility of Bazothini living out all the dreams she would never utter put loud about. But is all that sparkles gold? I'm more than interested in finding out as a viewer and I'm not the only one. People were live tweeting about the show already.

A final excited user simply wrote, "A new fave 🔥 #Isifiso"
I think this show is really good. The plot is slightly predictable but it doesn't make it less enjoyable. It's something a little different from our regular programming and easy to digest. I have to say though that the actors were glancing directly at the camera during some takes and it was slightly jarring and uncomfortable. Other than that, I would give it a 8/10.
