Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe famously known as Dj Maphorisa amongst the South African music industry was born in the Gauteng province, in the capital city of South Africa which is Pretoria.

The sandton hitmaker was born on the 15th of September 1987.

He is reportedly at the hospital at the moment as he got shot on the 8th of February, as reported by www.timeslive.co.za.

The pretoria born was from a bash in the East rand alongside his amapiano colleague who is Kabelo Motha, famously known as Kabza de small.

The duo were partying with someone's else girlfriend after it is reported on www.sundayworld.co.za that they were riding in a Mercedes Benz in which they had the company of that someone's else girlfriend, the boyfriend( who is yet to be disclosed) is the one who shot Dj Maphorisa.

Dj Maphorisa has been absent on social media platforms for quite some time now which justify the fact that he is indeed in a hospital as it is reported on www.enca.com that the bullets from the gunshot got too deep in his body.
