Amanda Du Pont opens up about the rape and abuse she endured because of Jub Jub

Gender based violence continues to claim the lives of women in South Africa and even though women have came together to help combat it, numbers are increasing to date. Popular actress and entertainer has came out with shocking news about Jub Jub after her name has been trashed on the mud in a podcast.

Amanda Du Pont made a Instagram video in which she exposed the kind of relationship she had with Jub Jub. She said that when she met the Uyajola host, she made him aware that she was a virgin and does not intend of losing her virginity until she gets married. Amanda says that Jub Jub abused her for 2 years straight and had continuously raped her as well. Amanda expressed in tears that the first time this had happened, Jub Jub, locked her inside of her apartment and by the time he opened, the first thing she did was to tell her friend about what has happened to her.

Amanda says that the reason this continued for 2 years is because Jub Jub threatened to kill her and to use black magic so that her life will be miserable. She says that when she finally left, it was not because she found out that Jub Jub was cheating but because the previous night, Jub Jub strangled her and she saw that the very same reason that she was afraid of leaving, is the same thing that would happen if she stayed in the relationship.

This all comes because Jub Jub said that he smashed Amanda Du Pont and that the reason they broke up is because his 'baby mama', Kelly Khumalo, had used black magic on the two. Amanda says she has told a few people about the incident and said the day that she left, she went to the police station to report the abuse and rape but was told to go home and think twice about what she wants to do.

This is a shock and a heartbreaking story. Amanda is seeking legal justice and everyone is standing by her. Comment with your opinion.
