Speaking with one of the most famous news source in his country called GH-news. Man stated that life has never been easy on him ever since he was a child. People teased about him and made jokes that left him torn. Akurugu, who was born with a deformed face, claims that people ignored the fact that he was created in the image of God and mocked him throughout his childhood.
And that alone made him to never see other people the same way he used. All because they see him as a different person who is not like them. On an interview Akurugu detailed some of his challenges that including being sidelined in school and having no seatmate during his primary period.
People saw him different even though he is still a human.
