Former Mamelodi Sundowns star was found wandering around on the street after being missing for a few weeks. PSL stars entertain us every weekend by paying for their respective teams but what they do behind the scenes is not well understood by the general public. Soccer players' health-related problems are usually dealt with only physically by a person, forgetting that the mind also plays an important role. Mental health problems, especially high-paying career, and post-career depression, have long been underestimated.

Khayelihle Shozi formerly of PSL giants Mamelodi Sundowns has been reported missing a few weeks ago, and his family is seeking help to find him. A celebrity also called out and disseminated the same information in the hope of finding him. Later, as efforts to find him increased, his photos spread throughout social media, and news spread that he was finally seen collecting unfamiliar items while eating the leftovers of the trash can. The former soccer player looked different from his glamor days in the high leagues he is now different, in the pictures he is covered in dirt, dressed in torn clothes, and walking barefoot. Sundowns coach Rurani Mokoena also participated in this initiative to find him, but the former PSL star was last spotted in Richards Bay. People are very saddened by what Shozi is going through mainly because this started after his stint with the Mamelodi-based club ended.

Others claimed that after his contract with Sundowns expired, he experienced some difficult situations and did not adjust accordingly. Some people explained that this was a direct psychological reaction leading to depression in former athletes. His situation is just the tip of the iceberg on this mental health problem that needs to be addressed. This condition applies not only to the poor but also to the rich, and people should be educated about it.
