Did you know that DJ Lamiez Holworthy began her DJ career in 2010 at the age of seventeen, when she was just 17 years old? This was a difficult time for the personality since things were difficult for her and her family as a result of the failure of Lamiez Holworthy's father's business (who passed away earlier this year) and her mother's retrenchment. That just goes to prove that she hasn't become a household name overnight.

Lamiez grew up on the Indian streets of Laudium, and after that, she attended Andrew Anthony Primary School and subsequently Sunnyside Primary School before graduating. She also went to Kwaggasrand Primary School. After all of this, she attended Pro Arte Alphen Park from grade 8 to grade 9 before graduating from Laudium Secondary School with her matriculation in 2009.

Her next visit was the Boston Media House, where she continued her media studies in 2012. After years of working as a DJ in the underground, she decided to pursue a career in showbiz in 2013 and hasn't looked back since, despite countless obstacles.
