How Zulu King And Lindiwe Sisulu Found Refuge At Shembe Church After A Hectic Week For Them

They always say when the way is dark and difficult one needs to pray, the Zulu King Misuzulu and Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu looked to God amid their current ambitions and struggles.

The controversy faced by Zulu King kaZwelithini and the Tourism minister Lindiwe Sisulu were among the millions of congregants in prayer seeking comfort at the Shembe church. The two celebrities went to the Canaan mountain in Inanda which is situated in the northern KwaZulu-Natal where the followers of Mduduzi Nyazilwezulu of the Buhlenifaction gathered for the yearly pilgrimage. Sisulu had a rough week as she wants to be the next ANC president and many things have been happening since then, on the other hand, King Misuzulu had been battling in court with his father's wife Queen Sibongile, and her two daughters. He had to go to court two days in a row in the fight to defend his ascension to the throne at the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

Sisulu also spent the week under attack for the so-called nonsense point of view which she wrote about the black Judges and another which is claimed to be said by Sisulu, which said the Constitutional is Holy Scriptures. The spokesperson for the royal family revealed that King Misuzulu went to the church to thank the Shembe church for their support as they have been going through difficult times. He also thanked the church for its support when he lost his mother Queen Regent Shiyiwe Mantfombi and his father King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu. The King while thanking the church he assured them that all these things will come to pass.

As for Sisulu, she went to the church to pray for all the challenges that the ANC is facing. His spokesperson Steven Motale said that Sisulu is part of the ANC collectives and her visit to the church was to ask for prayers that the organization could go beyond the challenges it was facing right now. Though she was there for prayers she meet the IFP president Velenkosini Hlabisa who was also attending the prayers and he told her that her party will lose the election to the IFP in 2024. The minister is under fire for her controversial articles and President Ramaphosa is pressurized to fire her for criticizing Constitutional Court judges. The DA is already pushing him to fire her.

The acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo said her opinion is an insult to black judges and unacceptable. The minister of Justice and Correctional Services Ronald Lamola an NEC ANC member accused Sisulu of racial attack against judicial officials. Lamola said her referring to the judges using crude racial tropes cannot be called a debate. Attacking the very institution that is to uphold the Constitution goes against the grain of everything that everyone wanted to change since 1994.
