Kelly Khumalo turns down an offer to replace Somizi at Zim after learning why he was blocked.

Artist Kelly Khumalo is remaining in fortitude with her dear companion Somizi Mhlongo as she declined to trade Somizi for the Zimbabwe-based gig for which the media character was shunned because of his sexuality. 

This comes after Zimbabwean places of worship and ideological group Zanu-PF purportedly sent a letter to the office obstructing Somizi from going to an occasion he was reserved to show up at as a visitor culinary specialist for the resuming of the main eatery on November 4. 

Kelly was set to supplant Somizi at the return of the eatery in Harare. The café owner, Mandy Mvukwe-Chimhini, affirmed to TshisaLIVE that the Empini vocalist was reserved for the occasion 

Kelly's chief Khothatso Tsotetsi let TshisaLIVE know that the vocalist got a similar booking after his undoing. Nonetheless, she had no clue about what had prompted Somizi into destructed when they were at first drawn closer. 

He added that after they found out about the Somizi failure they removed themselves from the occasion and declined the deal. 

Somizi shared a video on his Instagram on Wednesday clarifying that however he was dampened that he was avoided as a result of his sexuality, he would not quit supporting the LGBTQI+ people group. 

"This isn't whenever that this first happens to me ... them telling me not to go, it will not change the sexuality of those individuals ... you not needing me for being me ... I won't stop to talk on [these issues]. 

"I won't quit talking for the voiceless and for the benefit of the individuals who can't represent themselves." 

TshisaLIVE contacted Somizi for input however had not gotten a reaction at the hour of distributing this article. 

In the meantime, duals have taken to web-based media energizing behind Somizi with shock at the news.
