The Wife is a brand new hit telenovela that premiered on Showmax on the 11th of November and viewers can't get enough of it. The show is based on books by popular author Dudu Busani-Dube and produced for television by production company,Stained Glass.
The storyline follows the lives of 8 Zulu brothers who come from a prolific crime family,through the eyes of their respective wives.
Speaking in an interview with Showmax, author Dudu Busani-Dube explained that the show will be different from the book.
"When somebody reads a book, it's going to be their imagination. But when it comes to something visual, it's actually not easy to adapt it as it is. There are going to be new things and new people that are introduced by the film part of it and things that are going to be left out from the books,"she said.
