Judging from her acting skills you might think she has been acting for a long time but she made her first television appearance in Gomora. She doesn't get more love from viewers only but even experts in this industry have started complimenting her.
Sphesihle has recently won an international award at VN Global Media and Entertainment Awards Live Streaming. She was competing against Thuthuka Mthembu (Nonka on Uzalo), Zandile Madliwa (The Kissing Booth and When we were black.), Candice Modiselle ( Lerato Matema on Generarions the legacy.
Comenting about this Sphesihle said getting a nomination on it's own warmed her heart.
'As an artist it is always a big thing seeing that all the time you spend preparing yourself and shooting doesn't go to waste.'
She mentioned that though they as actors don't expect nothing from outside people but being honoured is inspirational.
I hope this award means a start of huge things that are coming. Sphesihle doesn't have acting skills only, but she is also well educated. She has two qualifications which she attained at Rhodes University. These are BSS in Psycology, Economics and Honours in Dramatic Art.
Before appearing on Gomora, Sphesihle wrote plays like Skinned, We Are proud to present, Joined Meqoqo Collective, I am an emotional creature, The Witches and Ant.
