As a single mother of five children, Hellen Wanjiru had to sell herself for just R50 a day to feed her family, she has revealed.
Though she was attracted to the guy, Hellen claims he wasn't the one she was looking for.
Her spouse was really violent, and he would beat her until she finally chose to leave him, which ended their marriage.
Hellen returned to her parents' house, but they were unable to accommodate her as she had planned, so she left with her five children and began a new life.
She had no choice but to start selling herself for merely R50 in order to support for her children's needs.
Then she met someone else who had impregnated her while she was still in the industry, but she was too young to be married so she decided to raise her child alone.
Because she didn't know where he was, she was unable to get her kid back when he attacked her and went off with the child.
Hellen has been left with a leg injury that requires surgery, but she hasn't been able to afford it owing to a lack of funds.
She's pleaded with friends and family to help pay for her medical bills, and she'd be grateful for any work or business opportunities that come her way.
