Shauwn 'MaMkhize,' a businesswoman and reality TV star, Mkhize has over two decades of experience in the property sector, a male-dominated industry in which she believes several women would balk or refuse to take on the challenge.
MaMkhize talked out about some of the hardships she's faced in an interview with media personality LootLove on the Mzansi Magic Music channel special. Among the things the businesswoman claimed she immediately learned was the importance of conducting her own property research.
"I believe that, first and foremost, if you are entering a male-dominated industry, you must learn a plan. You must learn that you must know more about whatever field you are in than others do. You know how, as women, we always do better than males when we learn something.”
With her never-ending squabbles with the tax man, MaMkhize's life was thrown into the spotlight. The reality show Kwa MaMkhize, in which she let Mzansi into her home each time an episode aired, was intended to help her overcome her negative reputation.
"My life was invaded before I could even give permission, but what occurred was that they invaded it and produced a perception, and others believed the perception to be true."
"I'm a strategist by nature, and my goal in entering the media was to shift public perception." I know they've invaded my privacy in the past, but I gave them permission, sat down, and said, "OK, how can I make this work for me?" As a result, I've transformed the perception into reality. I believe most people recognize MaMkhize for who she is now, rather than MaMkhize's tax problems and other issues."
The Kwa Mam'Mkhize actress has previously expressed her desire to see black women shine brightly and continue to demonstrate their superiority to the rest of the world.
She advised individuals reading that no matter what hurdles they face, they should not allow others dull their light.
"Dear brown-skinned lady,
"Remember that your glitter is a gift to the world that you give every day." Never allow them to dim your brightness; keep shining and reminding everyone that black is beautiful! Black is a powerful color! "Black is excellence, and black is magic!" says the narrator.
Shauwn values her family as well, and she always makes time to thank them on her TL.
She raved on Instagram about how beautiful her family was, posting a photo of herself with her son Andile.
"God will always be the head of my home and family." My family is the only thing that has been constant throughout my life. I began this adventure with them and will conclude it with them.
"How I adore my family." "Business comes and goes, with highs and lows, but I will be eternally grateful for what it has done in our lives," she added.
