Sello Sebotsane is a South African actor who is best known for his starring role as "Philane", a sensitive rugby player in the SABC 2 sitcom Stokvel, and SABC 1 soapie Generations, where he played the role of Caleb - who was Mawande Memela's husband.
Sello Sebotsane was born on the 23 October 1970, In 2020 he is currently 50 years old. The actor was born in Pretoria and currently resides in Johannesburg in Johannesburg.
Sello graduated with a National Diploma in Speech and Drama from Tshwane University. He is fluent in English and Tswana. Sello Sebotsane was married to Skeem Saam actress, Shoki Mmola nee Sebotsane, who plays the role of Celia Magonkgwa aka "MaKunutu". The couple's union has been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Oratile and Kutlwano Sebotsane.
The Skeem Saam actress Shoki was once strangled, punched several times in the face and in the body by her now ex-husband Sello Sebotsane in their former matrimonial home in Kibler Park, South of Johannesburg.
He allegedly attacked her after accusing her of depriving him of his conjugal rights. The domestic violence eventually led to their divorce.
