Zoe Mthiyane is a South African actress best known for her role as "Zitha" in Generations the Legacy, one of Mzansi's most popular soaps. Zoe has a large following due to her excellent acting skills, which she has developed over the course of her 14-year career in the entertainment sector.
Here are four facts about the actress that you probably don't know:
1. Zoe grew up in a polygamous family
Zoe Mthiyane's late father had five wives, the youngest of them was her mother Clara. Her large polygamous family had a large number of children. Her mother had a total of six children with her father, four boys and two girls. Growing up in a polygamous family was natural and enjoyable for Zoe.
2. She attended boarding school throughout her primary and secondary years.
Zoe was taken to boarding school when she was about five years old. She and her siblings were assigned to Ixopo's Little Flower primary and secondary schools.
3. Zoe started off her career as a model
Her mother encouraged her to participate beauty pageants to help her build confidence as a result of the struggle of growing up as the tallest girl among her friends. Her mother was also a contestant in beauty pageants, winning one in 1973. She then forced Zoe to walk in heels in order for her to rebuild her self-esteem.
4. She is a mother of two
The beautiful actress is the proud mother of two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. With sports presenter Robert Marawa, she had her first child, Awande, who is now ten years old. Lebo M. is the father of her lovely 6-year-old daughter Lulonke.
"Miss you on screen, madam,' a fan said on a recent Instagram post, to which Zoe replied, 'I may be over with my hiatus soon.' Promise’. We can only interpret this as an indication that the actress is working on something and will be back on our shows shortly. We can't wait much longer.
