Khaya Mthethwa and Ntando Kunene
Former Idols winner and pastor, Khaya Mthethwa married former miss South Africa, Ntando Kunene in 2017. The couple had a Zulu themed wedding in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. The wedding took place after the two dated for two months. Less than two years later the couple announced that the two were divorcing. Khaya revealed at his family church that he had had huge issues that he was dealing with even prior to the marriage. He said he had told his father that the whole thing was premature and that he was hot blooded.
Mona Monyane and Khulu Skenjane
Actors, Mona and Khulu's marriage of four years had a lot of tragedies. Although their union was short, it did produce two daughters in 2016 and 2017. The second daughter died after seven days. Mona revealed that the second pregnancy was both physically and spiritually difficult for her. The two drifted apart due to their tragedies.
Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali
Award winning DJ, Black Coffee and actress, Enhle Mbali had a lavish white wedding in 2017. The marriage was attended by the elite of the entertainment industry. After the wedding, rumors started doing the rounds that Black Coffee was being unfaithful. Enhle confirmed those rumours to DJ Zinhle during a sit down. Two years after the wedding the couple decided to divorce. They are fighting it out in court for settlements.
Somizi and Mohale
Idols judge, Somizi married Mohale in a fairytale wedding that was documented on Showmax and Mzansi Magic in 2019. The two are now in the process of divorce after Mohale accused Somizi of physical abuse and threats to a Sunday newspaper. Somizi denied the rumours and stated that they are trying to divorce amicably.
