

Shalate Sekhabi is an intelligent and determined young actress, she fell in love with acting at the age of 8. Her role as Shoki in House of Zwide made South Africans fall in love with her.



She debuted her acting career in 2014 when she was cast in two short films Making a Killing and A Cup of Sugar.
Making a Killing directed by Justine Head A Cup of Sugar directed by Xolile Tshabalala In season 3 of the River she had an appearance role as Millicent.


The year 2021 seems to be a great year for her as she has landed a major acting role on House of Zwide. House of Zwide is a new television drama that has replaced Rhythm City. In House of Zwide she is playing a supporting lead role as Shoki.
