Economic Freedom Fighters Commissar and Member of Parliament, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has finally added his voice to the many messages pouring in for RnB singer and billionaire, Rihanna who is pregnant with her first child at the age of 34.
Rihanna took the world by surprise when she went public with her boyfriend showing off her baby bump. Many didn't see it coming as the Barbadian singer has been busy with her Fenty clothing and cosmetics business.
The Economic Freedom Fighters Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said Rihanna is definitely going to execute her role as a mother to her child very well.
Rihanna has for quite some time now put her music career on the back burner as she rapidly expanded her makeup line, Fenty Beauty, and her lingerie line, Savage X Fenty.
As her business is growing, Forbes reported that Savage X Fenty raised $125 million in funding for the 4-year-old company. The line, which has pioneered inclusivity and diversity in a cookie-cutter industry, had strictly been an e-commerce brand. The company plans to open five brick and mortar locations this year in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston Philadelphia and D.C.
While many across the globe are excited for Rihanna and her bundle of joy, back home South Africans are divided over her pregnancy.
Some feel that people have double standards as they humiliate unmarried women in this country for falling pregnant, while they are applauding for Rihanna who will also have a baby out of wedlock.
Many times the rich are applauded for the same behaviour the poor will be condemned about and this clearly depicts the Rihanna situation and what happens to other black women who get pregnant out of wedlock.
Rihanna hasn't revealed the gender of her baby yet, but her pregnancy has gained much attention from the globe with some calling for a global baby shower.
