A love aspired by many, that is what Connie and Shona Ferguson had. Their love was one of those once in a lifetime kind of love, the kind that is rare to find nowadays. When Shona died, it was so heartbreaking and unexpected. Not only did Connie Ferguson lose a husband, friend and father of her kids, but we also lost a great innovator as a country. Shona was an actor, producer and a co founder of Ferguson films.
It has been four months since Shona died at the age of 47, and it hasn't been easy for his wife Connie Ferguson. The duo were inseparable, they danced, exercised together, shared laughter together and even shared one of their lovely "Carpet Sundays ". They would've celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this month.
Connie took to social media to remember her husband by sharing a picture of their wedding day. " This day 20 years ago....4 months without you Sho💔. today I'm not okay...." she wrote. Mzansi shares her pain as many people shared their love and prayers for the actress including Ayanda Ncwane. See some of the comments below:
"Sending you so much love "
"God's strength and Love to you, mama."
"Sending you so so much love sis Connie, may God's love comfort & strengthen you when it's hard like today "
"Strength to you my sis. The love lives on forever "
"I'm smiling and crying at the same time watching this photo. You both look stunning. Love you both"
"So sorry my sis. Sending my love to you, may the beautiful memories fill up some space today "
