South African celebrities who have a heart to give back to the community.

When South African Celebrities have an opportunity to give back to the community, we must applaud them.

These are those who go for big gestures, as well as those who make the people happy even through small things such as buying a groceries.

Nomzamo Mbatha.

Nomzamo Mbatha's Lighthouse Foundation and together with Hollywood bets have given South African students a bursaries worth R547 000.

"I named my foundation the lighthouse foundation because in the midst of the storm people look to a lighthouse to help guide them through the storm", said Nomzamo.

Skhumbuzo Hlophe.

The comedian known as Skhumba is passionate about the shortage of wheelchairs in South Africa. He also found a way of giving back by buying 21 families groceries on Christmas.

Anele Mdoda.

Anele was one of the people who helped to provide relief for the Alexander families who lost everything in a fire that destroyed 600 homes.

Luyanda Mzazi.

This young actress joined JAM(Joint Aid Management) South Africa, which is an African founded, Christian International Humanitarian relief and development Organisation as an embasador.

Somizi Mhlongo.

South African Idol judge is known for his charitable work, with one of his gestures to pay for the child's wheelchair. In May he pleaded to donate a coffin to murdered teenager Andile Bobo Mchunu's family to prepare for the funeral.

These are the stars who feel like they owe their success to the community. They have shown the communities for support and being with them every step of the way.
