Serious prayers pour in for singer Bucy Radebe

When the Uzugcin'impilo Yam vocalist became ill and had to return home, she was already in Gaborone. On Saturday, she was supposed to meet and greet her admirers at Riverwalk in Botswana for an autograph signing.

Bucy promised her Facebook admirers on Friday that she would meet them, writing: "Hi Botswana, tomorrow I'm taking some time to hang around with you for a meet & greet." Let's meet at 2 p.m. at Riverwalk Mall."

However, due to her sickness, she was unable to attend, and the event had to be rescheduled for April 2nd. Her team released a statement explaining why she didn't make the cut.

"During her travel, Ms Radebe began to have health issues, which caused her to return home immediately upon her arrival in Gaborone," according to the statement. Supporters will recall that she struggled with health issues, which led to two surgeries in a 12-month period between 2020 and 2021, both of which she was upfront about.

Since then, her followers have sent her notes wishing her a swift recovery.
