OPINION :Scandal At The High Risk Of Loosing Fans

Etv Scandal is one of the fast growing soap in South Africa . The soap started back in 2007 with powerful actors , the likes of Sorisha Naidoo , Siyabonga Twala , Luthuli Dlamini , Rami Chuene , Candice Derman , Clint Brink just to mention few .

Seems like the soap have changed so many actors since it started , we just have said goodbye to the actors that we were just getting used to them but they sadly left the soap , the likes of Brighton Ngoma who played the role of Quinton . He followed the stars like Yvonne , Romeo , Boniswa Langa and others . The exit of these stars came as a shock to the viewers of Scandal as they were still mourning the exit of Masasa Mbangeni who played the villain Thembeka Shezi , Mthunzi and many others .

The show is now introduced to new faces where I really thing , the viewers of the soap will have a problem with it , remember that the popular SABC 1 Generations when it was starting it revamp the viewers dropped . Samething applied to Uzalo when stars like Gxabhashe , Mxolisi , Ayanda , GC etc left the vibe of the show went totally opposite side .

When you watching Scandal you feels like you are watching the new soap which is totally not right . We definitely greatful to see new faces in the soap , but I think to remove many faces at once , this can cause a bad image for such a big production company that have amazed us the previous years .

Scandal is mentioned as one of the top local soapies amongst the big giants , the likes of Generations The Legacy , The Queen , Skeem Saam , Muvhango and many others .

I believe Scandal have brought strong and relevant actors , it just confusing to see many names casted out and many faces joins . We believe people will adjust in no time and enjoy their etv Scandal .
