Somizi shares sensitive details on his sister

Somizi shares the loss and her sister's private funeral. Losing a loved one is one of the hardest things to experience, but it's only part of life. Former Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo has announced that his family recently mourned the loss of his older sister, who was buried on Friday last week.

On Instagram, Somizi revealed that his older sister was buried in a private ceremony. Mhlongo shared how reserved her sister was when it came to her life, and she wanted a goodbye that was just that.

Somizi shared photos from the private ceremony attended by all of her loved ones. The intimate ceremony, according to Somizi, was peaceful and dignified and everything went according to plan.

“Last Friday we said goodbye to my mother's first-born ... my sister. She was a very private person and she wanted to be fired like that. And we make sure to give you that. It was a peaceful and dignified farewell, ”he wrote.

The reality star thanked all the friends and family who tried to get support during the difficult time as it meant so much to him. Somizi went on to say that only black-owned companies were hired to provide funeral services, and they have all outdone themselves.

Somizi added that society must free itself from the perception that black-owned businesses are bad services, as any business, regardless of race, is capable of offering bad services.

“We need to destigmatize the idea that black companies are doing bad service ... bad service is bad service. Good service is good service. Regardless of race, ”she wrote.

The black-themed ceremony was planned by well-known event organizer Stars Nono and Somizi was very pleased with the result. He thanked her for doing everything possible to make his customers happy as all was well for the service.

"@nono_events my sister and her team bring her heart to every event ... I can't thank you enough ... the decoration and everything is always ready," he wrote.

Somizi also thanked the other black companies that provided their top-notch services that day, including catering services and the funeral home.
