Actress natasha Thahane topped the Twitter Saturday morning after her interview with MacG podcast and chill where she reveals that she received over 1 million in funds from the government after reaching politician Baleka Mbethe.
Natasha who is the grand daughter of archbishop Desmond Tutu. Told macg that when she went to study in the US in 2017, she needed help to finance her studies at the Newyork film academy. She added that she made a call to Baleka and asked her to help her get money to study.
Baleka Mbethe then allegedly reached out to the department of Arts and culture to arrange the money. In access of 1 million that went to Natasha Thahane towards studying.
" mama, I need to go back to school, I've been accepted, i dont know what I am going to do, can I have funds? Please arrange something for me, she managed to speak to the department of Arts and culture and thy where able to assist me." She said.
When she touched down mzansi she hit the ground running, begging a role in the prison drama Lockdown and went on to star in the hit Netflix teen series Blood and water.
