Kairo Forbes is a really fortunate young lady. Last week, the six-year-old not only attended two birthday parties, but she also received a thoughtful birthday gift from her father AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes.
After getting her first pair of diamond earrings from her father, the young influencer, who now has 1 million Instagram followers, shared the video with her fans.
On her sixth birthday, the 'Fela in Versace' rapper planned a Queen of Hearts-themed celebration. In her honor, the rapper even had a cute cake prepared.
But the special moment was Kairo’s reaction to receiving the gift.
When opening the little box, she gasps and says “wow” while AKA comments “those are diamond earrings.”
Someone can he heard saying in the background “oh my gosh... real diamonds?” as she proudly shows off her diamond studs.
Daughter and father then have a moment when Kairo goes in for a big bear hug with AKA.
The rapper has had a rough 2021 after the death of his fianceé Anele Tembe.
While celebrating Father’s Day on June 20, he penned a letter to her.
Her expressed his deep sadness in the letter to Nellie, saying that as much as he tried to enjoy the day, everything reminded him of her and that made enjoying the day a very difficult exercise.
“Father’s Day was very difficult for me. Difficult because as much as I have lost you, as a father I cannot even imagine what it feels like to lose a child, especially someone as amazing as you. This is the last picture I took of you, and this is how I choose to remember you.
"I pray for you and your family on a daily basis, just as I do for mine. Anele, you are sorely missed. There's a lot. AKA wrote, "Everything reminds me of you."
