Gospel singer Thinah Zungu has issued an apology to Dumi Mkokstad.
Mkokstad has been accused of buying awards by fellow musician Zungu, who suggested that the accused knew about the buying of awards in the music industry.
After receiving backlash from the public, Zungu released a statement apologizing to Mkokstad and said he was only trying to make a joke.
“This is a public apology to Dumi and his friends and associates for mentioning his name in one of my posts on Sunday, I didn’t mean any harm to anyone. I’m really sorry, they don’t sell them and they haven’t been bought,” Thinah Zungu wrote on social media.
Both artist are seen as two of the biggest gospel singers in the country at the moment and are loved by millions of gospel lovers across the continent.
