Thandeka Dawn King plays the character of MaShenge on Mzansi magic's telenovela diepcity. MaShenge is married to Jele and had two children with him , one died and she had since blamed Nokthula for Sbusiso's death. Nokthula and her mother have tried to work on their relationship, its a working progres.
MaShenge hasn't been home for the past months, she wasn't even home for christmas. The storyline said she was in Mpumalanga doing a course. Jele has been taking care of the girls however Thandeka Dawn King has posted on her facebook page that she is returning to the telenovela. She posted a picture of herself on set.
Diepcity has been on screen for the past 12 months, it replaced Isibaya. King returns to the show after she had suffered a knee injury, however it seems she has since recovered and will soon be seen by the general public. The show will be having its first wedding this week where Lerato weds Bafana. MaShenge will appear on the next coming weeks.
