Is the Royal Prince Disrespecting Zulu King, MisuZulu, As the Prince is Set To Do This Today (See)

Prince Simakade is today excepted to enter the royal kraal at Enyokeni Palace in Nongoma, the move is viewed as some how undermining King MisuZulu, as the Zulu King will be performing the same ritual next week.

In the Zulu Culture, when the king passes on, there is no vacuum. The moment the next king is announced, that is when the next king ascend the throne, but there series of cultural rituals that precede to the actual coronation. Coronation is the climax of all other rituals customs, but already by that time the king is in the throne.

Dr Gugu Mazibuko, Cultural expert and UKZN lecture spoke to the Newzroom reporter; "Entering the kraal is a cetred ritual that precede the coronation, but however, each and every king palace they have cattle kraals. Therefore the ceremony that will take place next week is the final celebration of all other processes, but entering the kraal is when the king will get the blessings and communication with the nations ancestors and prayers will be conducted but other rituals are very private there are not for anybody consumption but for specific family members.

In the lead up to the coronation, many other celebrations for the monarch have been seen, including his marriage ceremony but at the same time there is also sort of not so good news within the royal family leading up to the coronation.

Once the king actually enters the kraal and the coronation takes place. Is there a hope amongst the Zulu people that will finally bring some kind of peace, some kind of alignment and accordance within the royal household, given some of the development that has been seen till now...
