Rest In Peace to the music artist that created childhood memories for Mzansi

FAR FROM the ghetto streets of Soweto, this South African Kwaito group resonates with a raw freshness and immediacy and an almost mythic sense of reclamation and redemption.

Tributes are pouring in for Mzansi's music legend, who have made significant contributions to the excellence of the SA music industry. The dark cloud has taken a heavy toll on the South African entertainment industry, leaving the grounds of artistry really dry.

Every South African growing up related to this group and they made each and everyone of us to create memories while listening to the music.

Trompies is a South African kwaito music group that was formed in 1995. Spikiri, Mahoota, Donald Duck, Jakarumba, and Mjokes grew up together in the Soweto township and decided to form a band after finishing their music studies in college.

Formalized paraphrase They began making music in the mid-1990s and released their debut album, Sigiya Ngengoma, in 1995. Trompies have become increasingly popular in recent years.

The country have once again woke up to the spirit breaking news of one of its own that, Emmanuel "Mjokes" Matsane, a Trompies member, was lost his life in a car accident early Sunday morning.
