In Disbelief || Chaos At The Funeral Of Deborah Fraser As Advocate Demanded R10M Because Of This

South African people are still saddened as they come into terms with the death of legendary musician Deborah Fraser. She was a South African award winning gospel musician who started her career in 1986. When she started her music career she gained more popularity because of her song " Abanye Bayomona". It is one of the songs that made many people to fall inlove with her. She even worked with the likes of the late award winning musician Hugh Masekela. Together they amazed people by their music.She was one of the celebrities who helped and impacted positively on the lives of many people in the country.

Many people including the likes of popular award winning musician Nomcebo Zikode used to see her as her role model. Deborah Fraser took her last breath last week on Sunday in the presence of her family members at the Baragwanath hospital. This is after she was diagnosed with diabetes and got paralyzed. Her family hoped that she would be able to fight and come back alive. Sadly things did not go as they had planned.Saying goodbye to her for the last time must gave been the most heartbreaking moment for her family.

Not in a million would one wish to lose a mother and most importantly her children had wishes of seeing her witnessing their success but it did not go very well. The pain of losing a mother or any loved one cannot be compared to anything. It is the kind of pain that does not fade away but people learn to live with it.Seeing her children breaking down as they pay a tribute to her really touched the lives of many people and left them crying.

It was a shock to many people when Advocate Khumalo disrupted the funeral and demanded an amount worth ten million rands from the Department of Arts and Culture. He said that the department did not appreciate and respected her enough when she was still alive. Seeing members of the department of Arts and Culture at the funeral left him angry and he further said that the money that the department was planning to use for a flag should be used for her family.

Some people have reacted on the matter and they say that the department does not owe her money but she was just like any other musician.
