Congratulations to the hit-maker of 'Loliwe' Zahara for doing this

Bulelwa aka Zahara was discovered performing at a gig in East London by TS Records co-owner TK Nciza. Multi-platinum, 17 x SAMA Award winning Zahara is one of the most talented artists to come out of South Africa ever. Her success speaks for itself.

Like most gifted musicians, Zahara began her singing career in the church choir. At the tender age of eight Zahara started performing as a solo acts at her local primary school; that's when she fell in love with the stage. For Zahara performing in school plays became a normal part of her school routine. Whilst through her young musical journey Zahara continued to be a fundamental part of the church choir, where she was taught by a church member to play piano.

Last month the media published articles about Zahara being pregnant but the sensational musician Bulelwa “Zahara” Mkutukana and her partner disputed the rumours.

The 'loliwe' hit-maker and her partner have been dating for less than a year. They are so crazy in love and they also know how to keep their personal matters a secret too.

The most exciting news about Zahara that I believe her fans will like to hear is that she now has her own hair products. This woman has done well for herself.

Like many creative professions, the life of a professional musician has both its advantages and disadvantages. As such, some musicians opt to work part-time gigs rather than make music their full-time job, simply because of the sporadic nature of employment in an artistic industry where competition is high.

The music scene is changing due to the popularity of digital music platforms. While these can gain you a larger audience and more exposure, it can also potentially limit earnings.

Most artists eventually start their own businesses to make sure that when their music careers flop they have something to lean back on.
