Schools reopening dates in South Africa

Schools reopening dates in South Africa

The South African primary and secondary schools were closed because of level 4 locks, but now the country's president and the education minister have come up with dates for school reopening.

And that could be the program to try to recover for the time they lost. Because they've been in their homes for over two weeks and they haven't learnt anything, most of them have access to and offer online learning especially from public schools. That means that they did not receive any training which lockdown level in four started.

And now, from this Thursday, 22 July 2021, teachers and other staff are reported to have returned to schools so that they can provide a safe environment for 26 students to be welcomed on their return. On 26 July 2021, both primary and high schools will be opened.

And this might be the action plan to cover the lessons they missed as a result of a corona virus outbreak under Level 4.
