Most people fairly knows about the fact that being assistant to any profession simply means one's job description is dictated by the amount of work that is available.

However, with that being said, there are some things which don't fall within the frame work of the assistant unless clearly defined in the job description. It is against this backdrop that readers should understand why the lady seemed to be baffled by what the teacher asked her to do.

It is worth stating here that to be a new comer in the working environment is always difficult, because one is still trying to get around the working culture of any given work environment. And as such, when one is given task that appears to be odd, one generally end up doing those tasks, simply because one doesn't want to seem to be rebellious.

Well, at this point in time, some readers might ask themselves what did the teacher ask the said Education Assistant to do.

According to the lady's words, a teacher asked the said Education Assistant to go and rinse some apples and peaches for the teacher. And when the said Education Assistant returned from rinsing those fruits; the teacher asked her to go and use a microwave to warm the teacher's food.
