The Ekurhuleni Student Gets Stabbed to Death by a Friend For Qualifying to Exams.

Bloemfontein- Education is undoubtedly the key to success. There are challenges that a person comes across to reach a point where they finally get to college or University. University and college prospectus only show the beautiful pictures on the campus buildings and not the struggles that students are likely to encounter.

Balancing personal life with academics is a struggle that students go through. In college, a student has to qualify for an exam by at least 50%. Reaching this 50% is a struggle on its own. It is indisputably an achievement to write an exam because there is a lot of effort put in before a student goes to exam hall which is also demanding. Imagine after all the struggle to pass matric, pay tuition fees and overcome mental issues then die for qualifying for an exam.

Last month 3 of the University of the Free State students were gunned down by intruders, today we were once again saddened by the news that an Ekurhuleni student, Mbali Hlongwane was stabbed by a fellow student for qualifying for an exam.

A reporter took into Instagram this sad news.

"Rest in power Mbali. Mbali Hlongwane, a mother and IT student from Johannesburg, was recently stabbed to death outside the Ekurhuleni West College campus. She was allegedly killed by a fellow male student because she had allegedly qualified to write the exams for all her subjects. Rest in power our sister. We will never forget you," a reporter wrote.

There was proof of a heated conversation in a WhatsApp group where the man by the name of Saki informed that he was going to kill this student.

A student who was at the scene informed everyone on Facebook about the indecent. Look at the conversation down below.

What is next from here?

The police will conduct the research to collect all the evidence that will be used in the court of law against the perpetrator. This is difficult for a family, they will be given privacy and space to give for their daughter. Justice shall be served for this lost soul.
