South African are are making a call to department of Education to close schools again, they are saying their kids are not longer safe as new cases are being reported from schools almost everyday.
A new cases has beimg reported in Brettonwood High School in Umbilo Durban Kwazulu Natal, it happens that there is 13 cases of learners who have contracted the Corona virus. The principal of the school is ordering teachers to continue teaching. One of the parents told media that she have two kids who are attending at Brettonwood High School, now she is worried about her kids of which she ended up telling them to go to school although she is worried that are missing some of the lessons.
Parents are now trying to reach Minister of Education to address the issue so that the school can temporary closed and fumigated.
A Similar Case was reported in Limpopo Venda in Gole Secondary School, one of the teachers was tested positive and the principal was trying to hide it to learners and parents as well as the community. He only told the teacher to stop coming to work. It happens that the teacher was in contact with lots of learners at Gole Secondary School. Information linked and one of the journalist visited the school to talk to the principal, some of the parents went to school and the principal ended up releasing learners to go home as they were busy teaching teaching learners as if nothing happened.
If you know any school with a corona virus case and they are letting learners to come to school as if nothing happened please report them as soon as possible, let us protect our kids. Corona virus is real and it is in our hands to stop this spread so that our kids will go back to school.
