The curtain is about to fall on the class of 2021. It has been a long twelve year journey for many and the matric results will signal the end of the road for basic education and a new chapter.
Unlike the class of 2020, the examination for the class of 2021 was not marred by paper leaks. The examination was conducted will minimal incidents. The only black spot was the scripts that got damaged by rain in Free State.
Umalusi which is responsible for standardisation of the matric results will be announcing the approval for the release of the grade 12 results tomorrow January 18th.
No surprises are expected during the presentation. Media houses are invited to attend thr announcement by the chairman of the Organisation.
The minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga will on Thursday at 18H00 announce the overall results for the class of 2021. Individual pupils will then receive their results the following day from their centers.
