On the 21st of January 2022 the South African department of education and the Umalusi officials published the Grade 12 or matric results for the 2021 Matric candidates.
The overall pass percentage was over 77 percent with Free state taking the number 1 position, Limpopo taking the number 9 which is the last one.
Gauteng took position 2 and speaking of Gauteng with it's high percentage pass rate there are some learners who did not make it and some of them did not take it likely.
It is currently being alleged that a Geography teacher was shot five times by s learner who failed Grade 12 at Phomolong Secondary in Tembisa.
The motive behind the shooting is not yet revealed, As a teacher myself working in a schooling environment is not an easy task and it comes with risks such as this one.
