The south africans woke up to the sad news that unfolded in one of the primary schools in the province of western cape,the teacher was shod dead by the grade six learner just a minutes after his arrival from home to work.The classes were suspended and the children were sent home.The teacher lied down screaming before he lost the battle against the gun wounds he incurred from the learners.The south africans all over the social media have been questioning the safety of the teachers and other learners at the public schools,the feel like the department of basic education could have long done something positive about this issues as it was not for the first time that the teacher is being attacked by a learner.The minister of basic education Angie Motshekga has called for the swift reaction by the police to arrest the implicated learner.Motshekga has also clarified that the department has launched many programs in the various schools across the country to protect the teachers and the innocent learners.South african schools are heavily infested by the bullies,gang members and drugs users.They've systematically been turned into a mini prisons.These unconducive environment has made it difficult for the devoted learners to prove their capabilities.The issue of learners being constitutionally granted too much freedom has changed the schooling environment drastically.
