Fundamental training priest Angie Motshekga says an expert subject educational plan, which will see students selecting for subjects like farming and oceanic, has been gazetted for public remark.
The priest said this when she postponed the office's financial plan vote during a scaled down whole of the National Assembly on Thursday.
"We are proceeding to grow the foundation of Focus Schools to cater for students with extraordinary gifts and aptitudes across a wide scope of academic undertakings.
"These schools comprise an authoritatively particular classification of government funded schools that offer a specific educational plan, situated toward 11 learning fields, which incorporate Agriculture, Maritime and Nautical Science, Mathematics, Science and Technology, and Technical Occupational trains like Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Technologies.
"Notwithstanding our definite advancement report we gave last year, we can additionally report that 35 Occupational and Vocationally-arranged subjects have been gazetted for public remark," she said.
Motshekga said the gazetting was continued in 2021 by the accommodation of these subjects to Umalusi for examination and quality confirmation.
